Program At-A-Glance

How is this program delivered ?

The Health Care Genetics Program is a hybrid graduate program with many online graduate classes and graduate training modules available each semester.  In-person class times vary with department and by semester, some may be offered on a weekend.

Where is this program delivered?

Most in-person classes are offered on the Storrs campus, but there is a selection of eligible classes offered on the Farmington, Stamford and Hartford campuses.

When and how long is the program?

The program is open for fall, spring or summer admission to recent graduates or others looking to return to learning. Registration to complete the 33-credit degree can be full-time or part-time. We recommend, in most instances, 4-full terms (summer is considered a term-option).  You may also choose to enroll in only one class per semester or up to 20-credits as your finances and work or family schedule allow.
