Aubrey Stowers
Aubrey Stowers graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Data Science. As an undergraduate, she had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Auckland in New Zealand. Here she developed a strong interest in the rapidly evolving field of genetics, particularly cancer treatment through gene therapy. Aubrey is excited to continue her education at the University of Connecticut and hopes to deepen her understanding of genomics through hands-on application. Through the Health Care Genetics Professional Science Master’s program, she aims to strengthen her wet lab techniques, gain more practical experience, and learn more about the current innovations of the field. In the long term, she aims to use these skills to transition into the biotech industry.
