Kimberly H. Sacaza

Kimberly H. Sacaza (Fall 2025) earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Johnson & Wales University in 2023. It was during this time that her passion for genetics began to take shape, fostered through independent field research conducted in collaboration with multiple faculty members. Her first published project, “The Genetic Role of Autism,” marked the beginning of her deep interest in neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders.

Following graduation, Kimberly joined Yale University as a Research Coordinator, where she gained hands-on experience in clinical and academic research. She is currently completing her graduate degree in the Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program in Health Care Genetics, aiming to combine her interests in science, genetics, and research. After graduation, Kimberly aspires to work as a Medical Laboratory Scientist and serve as an Adjunct Professor, where she hopes to inspire the next generation of scientists while contributing to the advancement of equitable genetic research.
